Hi Friends!
If you’ve been following me on facebook, you know that Mark and I took off a day last week to go to Crescent Beach, Florida. (If you’re not on my facebook yet, you’re really missing out. Daily inspirational messages from Spirit Guides. Fo’ free, yo. Just saying ๐ Well, here are the lovely pictures!!!!
You know I love sharing my adventures with you, so I hope you can relax, breathe in the fresh salty air, and take a beach break with me right now ๐
Can’t you just hear the waves? Ahhh….I love that sound. If you are ever visiting Central Florida, go to Crescent Beach. It’s a huge beach with the softest sand you’ve ever felt. I know a lot of people describe great beaches as having “sugar sand”, but sugar is even more coarse than this sand. It is lovely.
Isn’t this shell beautiful? Apparently if you really want to go on a shell hunt, Sanibel Island, Florida is the place to go.
The weather was a little on the chilly side, so I didn’t spend as much ย time as I usually do in the water. Instead, I enjoyed watching the seagulls.
I think I stumbled upon seagull boot camp. Doesn’t the one at the back look like he’s ordering the others to stand at attention?
Some of the seagulls had brown spots on their feathers, like this one…
And then there were the babies. This is the first time I’ve seen baby seagulls. They weren’t able to fly yet, but they make up for it by running SO quickly across the sand.
And now for the reason my honey likes to go to the beach. He always brings carving tools, a spade, and whatever else he feels inspired to use and spends hours building his sand castle. He added seaweed to this one to represent the Seaweed Monster that lives under the bridge.
I hope you enjoyed this trip to the beach with us!
Love,
