Finding Balance During Big Changes

When circumstances change in your life, the balance and order that you previously established may be thrown out of whack. When Mark started his new job, we went from spending every day together to barely seeing each other. It took time before he was comfortable in his new position and we were able to figure out how to spend more time together.

When we moved, I was spending time unpacking and wasn’t cooking our normal healthy foods. It took time for us to get back to fresh foods instead of frozen. And next year I’m starting nursing school. I know that will be a huge time commitment, and I’m already thinking about how I will find balance between growing my beautiful business and studying for my classes.

When you’re dealing with a new situation, your energy may flow into one area of your life more than another. It’s okay as long as you don’t tell yourself that you’re failing if some area of your life temporarily suffers.

I did a reading for a client last week who was worried because although he is finally happy in his relationship, he no longer has as much drive for growing his business. In this video, I share messages Spirit Guides shared about finding (and regaining) balance during big changes.

As I was writing this post, I kept thinking about what we can do to feel balanced again. The message I kept getting was to just have patience with yourself. Change takes a period of adjustment. If you feel like some aspect of your life isn’t getting as much attention as it should, trust that you will slowly but surely figure it out and come into balance again.

Remember, balance isn’t something that you either have or don’t have. It’s a fluid process. You’re always adjusting to the new things that happen in your life. Appreciate the balance you’ve already achieved, and trust that you will keep figuring things out.

Sending you love,

Melanie
