Have you ever seen a family member, friend, or someone in your community who was suffering, and you weren’t sure what you could do to help?
I felt that way a few days ago, and the insight I received from my Spirit Guides made me feel empowered and helped me realize the role I can play to alleviate even just a small bit of suffering in the world.
In this video, I share my story, the loving messages from my Spirit Guides, and guidance for how to find out how you can be helpful to those who are suffering.
Sometimes in the face of suffering, we can overlook ways that the person (or animal) is already being cared for. We may miss signs of improvement or kind gestures from other people who are trying to help.
When I first saw the horses, I pictured them never being cared for and left to starve in their tiny enclosure. After asking my Spirit Guides how I could help, I noticed that there was a pile of horse dung outside the barn, so someone must be cleaning their enclosure. I realized that even though the few bits of hay I saw were wet, at least hay was a sign that they were getting fed at some point. Obviously they weren’t getting enough food on a regular basis, but they hadn’t been completely abandoned.
It can be overwhelming if you think you need to end someone’s suffering on your own. You can do your part, but remember that there are many other people in the world who can offer help as well. When someone you love needs help, don’t try to do everything yourself.
Instead of focusing on what you can’t do, focus on what you can do. You might not be able to cure your loved one’s disease, for example, but you can read to them or offer comfort in other ways. I couldn’t free the horses or take care of them forever, but I could give them fresh grass and love that day.
Every little thing you do to make another person’s (or animal’s) journey easier makes a difference. You are an earth angel, and you are here because you can help. Ask your Spirit Guides how you can be of service, and trust that you are one of many helpers who can alleviate someone’s suffering.
Sending love your way,
