How to Set Aside Nagging Thoughts

How to set aside nagging thoughts with Melanie Jade Rummel

You know those times when something is on your mind and you can’t stop thinking about it? It could be something someone said, a decision you have to make, or a worry, and it grows and grows until you can’t focus on anything else.

That happened to me this week. I had a decision to make, and I kept going back and forth, feeling different emotions and weighing my options. I needed to meditate to get clarity, but I didn’t have time in that moment. I had to find a way to set it aside and move on with my day.

Luckily, I came up with a quick solution that worked really well for me, and that’s what I’m sharing with you today!

To make this work, you have to know that you will make time to get clarity later. Decide what day and time you will resolve your concern, and stick to it.

I made time that evening to meditate about my decision. I followed along with my Meditation for Clarity video, and within a few minutes I felt peaceful about my decision.

It doesn’t have to take long to move past these interfering thoughts, but sometimes they creep up when you don’t have the time to deal with them. With this tip, you can set those thoughts aside and get on with your day.

How has this tip worked for you? Is there something else you do that helps?

Sending you love!

Melanie
