As I went to write this blog, a guide who looked like a Buddhist monk appeared and shared a poem with me about peace. He wore a light green shawl, had very tanned skin, had a round face, no shoes, and a robe. He paused between each “peace” sentence, so when I read it back, I read it slowly and like a meditation.
Peace.
Peace in breathing in and out.
Peace in calming your mind and your thoughts so you can hear your spirit.
Peace in silence. Peace in beauty, in nature.
Peace in sadness. Peace in grief.
Peace in joy and laughter. Peace in tranquility.
Peace in water. Peace in breath. Peace in hope. Peace in trials.
Peace in speaking. Peace in hearing. Peace in touch. Peace in rest.
Peace in loyalty. Peace in generosity. Peace in self-love. Peace in color.
Peace in vibrance. Peace in love. Peace in jobs. Peace in bathing.
Peace in every morsel and strand. Peace in everything.
Peace in your life. Peace in your breath.
Peace in your speech. Peace in your stance.
Peace in your food.
Peace in your heart.
Peace in your energy.
Peace in your heart.
Peace emmanates from within.
Peace in all.
Peace.
